2002 lincoln cont driver seat will not go forward or back motor runs but no movment?

Either it has jumped off of the tracks or something is jammed in the track. You will have to remove the seat and inspect it. It is a real pain in the a$$ to do. I would recommend taking it to a mechanic, but be prepared to pay at least 1.5 labor hours ($150-$250) plus parts if needed.
