Why are prices so high in Canada? I think living in the States is way better, Canadians don't you agree?

I think Canada has a big problem. Canada has the worst taxes and prices in the world. It is on the top 10 highest tax countries in the world, at a staggering %36.6 tax rate in 2006... Not to mention that everything you buy in Canada you have to pay 7% tax to the goverment of Canada for all their hard work , the roads that will never be finished, construction that will keep blocking traffic nonstop, and out of this world prices! Thank you O great Maple Leaf...and in Ontario at least, 8% tax to the province (which is the goverment once again..) So its not so bad right? Buy a chocolate bar at $0.99 and pay $0.14 to support the elderly! Yay! (BTW the elderly are going to have their pensions cut just because Harper feels like buying a new yacht) How about a car? Lets take a cheap car at $10,000 and pay $1,400 to the goverment just because they helped us by finding us that great price we bought our Toyota Corolla, which we could have bought at %70 of the price in the States. Oh I went to the movies last week and saw the receipt where I had to pay an extra %5 (ENTERTAINMENT TAX...Is that a joke???) Canada is like the US' Outlet store (where items not sold in the main branches come to) but more expensive either way... Like gas for example. It is $CAD1.05 per L and rising, while the US has $US2.45 ($CAD2.86)per gallon. A L is roughly 25% of a gallon. So 1.05 x 4 = $CAD 4.00 ($US3.75). People in Canada are paying almost double the gas price then those of the States. And dont forget while prices are raising by about 0.02 daily in USA, they are raising 0.08 in Canada... Now dont tell me that's not messed up. So I ask CNDians, would you live in the US or stay there North?
