Mountain hiking in the southeast of england ?

Sorry, there is nothing resembling a mountain within easy travelling distance of Kent for a couple of 13 year olds. You have some hills in the area or, at least, the slopes of the North Downs. It is not mountaineering but it could help build your stamina ready to tackle, say, the Peak District in Derbyshire before moving on to, possibly, Mount Snowdon in North Wales.
