If you add a Sound Blaster X-Fi USB to Qosmio X305 can you still output sound through the internal speakers?

I am going to buy a qosmio x305 and a Sound Blaster X-Fi Surround 5.1 but the qosmio integrated speakers is so good that I don't want to have to buy external speakers (when I'm at home I can use my PC speakers). Also I want it to play Grid and Fontlines fuel of war to get the nice sound effects. So is this possible? Or do I have to output from headphones or amplified speakers?
