Turbocharging my 87 toyota 2wd truck?

i just wanted to know if it wud be worth turboing my truck,i want it to be diff, n i got the idea because my uncle did it to hit 79 corolla with sidedrafts on it.i got so far for my engine a holley 600 4barrel,racing head,msd 6al,msd2 blaster,msd wires,n a couple other things i kinda dont remember.so if its a good idea to turbo it wat is all the info i need about turbos and maintinence.thanks
