What Happens If You Accidentally Ingest Swarfega?

I was just curious because at school, I had to use Swarfega and wanted to know if I could eat my sandwich after, my teacher advised me to wash my hands with normal soap but my hands still smelt of the Swarfega after, so I was unsure whether I had cleaned it off enough and whether it was safe to eat it (the sandwich).
